Ljiljana Tutnjevic’d ‘ice’ series of tables explores the visual and mechanical potential of fusioned glass. The form was influenced by process of manufacture and the material. It uses existing technology, rather than developing new technology. Ribbed glass allows elegant, thin surfaces to be used, creating clean simple shapes. Different light conditions change the appearance of glass. all pieces are fully recyclable. (via)
